Hot, hot, hot!

This summer has been intensely hot in the midwest, and that means no one is looking for hats, scarves and fingerless mittens. But with air conditioning holding indoor temperatures between 65 and 70, a nice shawl is just the thing to keep on your office chair for those moments when that summer top allows goosebumps to form.

These shawls slip over the head and leave the hands free for working. The twist in the front, like a Mobius strip, is eye-catching. Colors are available for all tastes. Check out the Mobius shawls at Whitaker Knits' Etsy shop, www.etsy.com/shop/whitakerknits.

The heat outside doesn't keep your baby warm, either, when he's sleeping in your air conditioned home. Throw a little Whitaker Knits Nandy over the child for just enough warmth to keep him napping comfortably.

Nandy baby afghans are available at www.etsy.com/shop/whitakerknits and at www.etsy.com/shop/nandybywhitaker. Take a gander. I look forward to hearing from you.
